INSTRUCTIONS

1. Verify that the chamber and magazine tube are empty.
2. Wear safety glasses during installation.
3. The magazine spring is under tension. Use extreme caution.
4. Refer to Gun Owners Manual for your gun's specific magazine spring removal procedure.
5. Check local hunting regulations to understand local magazine limits.

UNLOAD FIREARM

🟠 Always ensure your firearm is completely unloaded before making any adjustments.

Remove Magazine Cap

🟠 Carefully unscrew and remove the magazine cap from the magazine tube.

Remove Magazine Spring Retainer

🟠 Use snap ring pliers or gently pry it out with a flathead screwdriver.

Remove Existing Plug (If Installed)

🟠 Take out any existing magazine plug.

Install TekPlug Assembly

🟠 Hand-tighten the Tek Plug’s magazine cap onto the swivel cap.

🟠 Insert spring into exposed magazine opening.

🟠 Insert TekPlug into the exposed magazine spring.

🟠 Compress the spring by guiding the TekPlug into the magazine tube.

🟠 Once aligned, screw the TekPlug magazine cap onto the tube until it seats against the forend.

Verify 2-Shell Configuration Assembled / PLUGGED

🟠 Ensure the plug and rod are screwed tightly onto the magazine cap.

🟠 Only the swivel cap and swivel should be visible externally.

🟠 If not fully assembled, use the swivel cap to tighten the rod into the magazine cap until fully seated.

Switching to Full Capacity

🟠 Loosen the Swivel Cap

-Unthread the swivel cap by hand.

🟠 Retract the Plug and Rod

-Pull the rod and plug back into the magazine cap.

🟠 Secure in Disassembled Position

-Hand-tighten the swivel cap back onto the magazine cap. The rod should now extend outward.
